Good Place to Stay

I thought this hotel was in an excellent location to visit the southern portion of Yosemite National Park or the Sierra National Forest. Mariposa Grove and Wawona are approximately 15-20 miles away and there is nothing closer. The hotel is about 90 minutes from Yosemite Valley, which twice a day can be somewhat of a distance. Nevertheless, this was a great home base for our first four days in the park. The staff is pleasant and helpful. When I noted that our hair dryer did not work, they replaced it that day. They had a similar reaction when we did not have enough towels for four and provided them immediately. The internet access was okay throughout the stay.
